Vesper

Ordered by James Bond in Casino Royale (1953) and named for the woman he loses. Gin and vodka together make it stronger and cleaner than a Martini; Lillet adds a faint honey-orange note where vermouth would be herbal.

1. Add to a mixing glass

   60 ml120 ml180 ml240 ml	Gin (London dry)— not in stock
   20 ml40 ml60 ml80 ml	Vodka— not in stock
   10 ml20 ml30 ml40 ml	Lillet Blanc— not in stock

2. Stir with cubed ice for 30 seconds (Bond shook it; stirring keeps it clear)

3. Strain into a chilled martini glass, no ice

4. Garnish with lemon zest twist
