Swimming Pool

Charles Schumann, Munich, 1979 — a Piña Colada that went for a swim. Vodka and rum with pineapple, cream and coconut, and a slick of blue curaçao poured over the top for the pool colour. Creamy, tropical, deliberately kitsch.

1. Add to a shaker

   30 ml60 ml90 ml120 ml	Vodka— not in stock
   30 ml60 ml90 ml120 ml	White rum— not in stock
   90 ml180 ml270 ml360 ml	Pineapple juice— not in stock
   20 ml40 ml60 ml80 ml	Double cream— not in stock
   20 ml40 ml60 ml80 ml	Coconut cream— not in stock

2. Shake hard with cubed ice for 10 seconds

3. Strain into a hurricane glass filled with crushed ice

4. Pour over the top so it sinks in streaks

   10 ml2 × 10 ml3 × 10 ml4 × 10 ml

   Blue curaçao— not in stock

5. Garnish with pineapple wedge and a cherry
