Mint Julep

Kentucky's drink since the early 1800s and the Derby's since 1938. Bourbon, sugar and mint over a mountain of crushed ice in a frosted cup: sweet, cold, aromatic — sip slowly through the straw.

  1. Press gently in a julep cup — no tearing

    10 ml2 × 10 ml3 × 10 ml4 × 10 mlSugar syrup (2:1)— not in stock
  2. Add and fill the cup with crushed ice

    60 ml2 × 60 ml3 × 60 ml4 × 60 mlBourbon— not in stock
  3. Churn with a bar spoon until the cup frosts, then cap with more crushed ice

  4. Garnish with big mint bouquet
