Margarita

A tequila Daisy from the 1930s–40s borderlands, whoever actually invented it. Tequila, orange liqueur and lime with a salted rim: sour, a little sweet, with agave earthiness underneath.

Everything is on the shelf.

  1. Wet half the rim of a chilled coupe with lime and dip it in

  2. Add to a shaker

    50 ml100 ml150 ml200 mlTequila blanco— not in stock
    25 ml50 ml75 ml100 mlCointreau / triple sec— not in stock
    25 ml50 ml75 ml100 mlLime juice (fresh)— not in stock
  3. Shake hard with cubed ice for 10–12 seconds

  4. Fine strain into the coupe, no ice

  5. Garnish with salt rim, lime wedge
