Long Island Iced Tea

Long Island, 1970s — five white spirits, lemon, sugar and a splash of cola that makes it look like iced tea. Deceptively light-tasting for its strength; the lemon and cola do the balancing.

  1. Add to a shaker

  2. Shake with cubed ice for 8 seconds

  3. Strain into a highball filled with cubed ice
