From the Detroit Athletic Club in the 1910s, rediscovered in Seattle in 2004. Equal parts gin, green Chartreuse, maraschino and lime — herbal, sweet, sour and strong in equal measure.

2. Shake hard with cubed ice for 10 seconds

3. Fine strain into a chilled coupe, no ice
