Espresso Martini

Dick Bradsell, London, 1983, for a customer who asked for something to 'wake me up and then mess me up'. Vodka, coffee liqueur and a fresh espresso shaken hard for the crema: bitter, sweet and lively.

1. Add to a shaker

   45 ml90 ml135 ml180 ml	Vodka— not in stock
   20 ml40 ml60 ml80 ml	Coffee liqueur— not in stock
   30 ml60 ml90 ml120 ml	Espresso (fresh)— not in stock
   1 ml2 ml3 ml4 ml	Salt— not in stock

2. Shake very hard with cubed ice for 12 seconds to build the foam

3. Fine strain into a chilled coupe, no ice

4. Garnish with three coffee beans
