Bloody Mary

Claimed by Harry's New York Bar in Paris in the 1920s, perfected as a hangover cure everywhere since. Vodka in seasoned tomato juice: savoury, spicy, a meal in a glass. Rolling instead of shaking keeps the tomato juice from going thin.

1. Add to a shaker

   50 ml100 ml150 ml200 ml	Vodka— not in stock
   120 ml240 ml360 ml480 ml	Tomato juice— not in stock
   15 ml30 ml45 ml60 ml	Lemon juice (fresh)— not in stock
   4 dashes8 dashes12 dashes16 dashes	Worcestershire sauce— not in stock
   2 dashes4 dashes6 dashes8 dashes	Hot sauce (Tabasco)— not in stock
   pinch, plus pepperpinch, plus pepperpinch, plus pepperpinch, plus pepper	Salt— not in stock

2. Add cubed ice and roll — pour back and forth between the two halves 5 or 6 times

3. Strain into a highball filled with cubed ice

4. Garnish with celery stick, lemon wedge
